During the working process of the air conditioner, the compressor of the air conditioner will inhale the gaseous refrigerant in the evaporator, compress it to make it a high temperature and high-pressure gas, and then send the high temperature and high-pressure refrigerants gas into the condenser through the expansion valve. Afterward, the low-temperature and high-pressure refrigerant passes through the capillaries and enters the evaporator through the throttling of the capillaries. After the refrigerant enters the evaporator, the space suddenly increases, the pressure decreases, and the refrigerant changes from liquid to gas. During this process, Freon will absorb a lot of heat and the evaporator will become cold. When the indoor unit fan blows over the evaporator, the air blown by the air conditioner will become cold air to achieve cooling.

1. R-22

Although R410A has zero damage to the ozone layer, its greenhouse gas effect even partially exceeds that of R22. Therefore, R410A is not the ultimate environmentally friendly refrigerant solution for China's air-conditioning industry. 3. R290
R290, also known as propane, is a natural hydrocarbon refrigerant that can be directly obtained from petroleum cracking. It is a new type of environmentally friendly refrigerant, mainly used in central air conditioning, heat pump air conditioning, household air conditioning, and other small refrigeration equipment.
Compared with the synthetic refrigerant Freon, the molecule of the natural working medium R290 does not contain chlorine atoms, so the ODP value (Ozone Depletion Potential Value) is zero, and it does not have a damaging effect on the ozone layer.
In addition, R290 has a GWP value (Global Warming Potential) close to 0 compared with HFC substances that also have no destructive effect on the ozone layer and have no effect on the greenhouse effect. The carbon dioxide emission reduction obtained by using an air conditioner with R290 as the refrigerant is equivalent to the carbon dioxide emitted by a car with fuel consumption of 10 liters per 100 kilometers running 6,000 kilometers.
4. R32
R32, also known as difluoromethane, is colorless, odorless, non-toxic, low inflammability, has an ozone destruction potential (ODP) of 0, and a global warming coefficient (GWP) of 0.11. These advantages make it one of the alternatives to R22.
